Our Numbering and Lettering Press allows you to indent a variety of items with numbers and letters, including nameplates, motor plates, tags, keys, social security plates and similar flat metal parts.
Numbering and Lettering Press
  • Stamp aluminum, brass and steel parts
  • Stamp smaller characters into stainless steel parts
  • The dials are made of Special High Grade Tool Steel, scientifically hardened and tempered
  • Standard dials are engraved with 42 characters
  • Character wheels are carefully engraved and make clear cut impressions of uniform depth
  • Available character sizes: 1/16”, 3/32”, 1/8”, 5/32”, 3/16”
  • Different size dials are interchangeable, but each size character requires a different spacing rack
  • Approximately 25-30 lbs. of applied physical force is required to achieve 300 lbs. of stamping force
  • Heavy Duty Numbering and Lettering Press
  • Heavy duty cast iron construction is used throughout the machine. All parts are machined; no die cast parts are used.
  • Standard dials are engraved with 42 characters
  • Character wheels are meticulously engraved for accuracy, strength and alignment
  • Available Character Sizes: 1/8”, 5/32”, 3/16”, 1/4”, 5/16”, 3/8”
  • Different size dials are interchangeable but each size character requires a different spacing rack
  • Approximately 20 lbs. of applied physical force is required to achieve 1,000 lbs. of stamping force
