Durable Mecco’s dot peen marking systems, often referred to as pin stamp marking, Is a direct part marking process used to mark alpha/numeric characters, logos and 2D Data Matrix bar codes.

Dot Peen technology is one of the most versatile marking solutions on the market today. Equipment capabilities range from simple nameplate requirements to completely integrated solutions to mark directly onto fabricated components in-line.

Durable Mecco dot peen systems are versatile marking stations for small to medium size parts, and can be used to mark many materials ranging from plastics to 62Hrc metals. These electrically driven dot peen units require no air supply to operate making them a low cost investment with no consumables and no maintenance.

e9 Dot Peen Marking Systems are available as stand-alone bench models or portable units for larger component marking requirements. Each e9 series system comes with a fully programmable electronic controller that includes an industrial membrane keyboard – NO PC required! These systems are suited for straight line, angular and circular marking requirements.

These modular style units are available with large marking windows (up to 160 x 100mm) and are equipped with stainless steel shutters for add protection of internal components. Whether you require simple signals between manufacturing systems, or desire full integration with host computer systems, Durable Mecco’s dot peen systems fit the requirement.

Rotary D axis attachments allow for marking around the circumference of diameters up to 150mm. When combined with the motorized Z axis with “autosensing” capabilities it allows you to automatically and precisely adjust the marking stylus position depending on the real height of the part at each cycle start.

e8 dot peen marking systems include a stand-alone controller that includes a sealed keyboard. This controller allows the e8 series of bench-model, portable and I-series integrated heads to be easily interfaced with production lines. Communications can be sent via RS232 or USB ports from a PC or host computer to the marking system. e8 dot peen marking systems are built for the most rugged industrial, high-production environments.
