Durable Mecco introduces the DOT MARKER Ink Jet Printer for spot marking on any surface. This cost effective, high performance, Non-Contact Dot Marker system was designed for placing marking dots on any type of surface. It is easy to set up and comes with two print head sizes (4”x1” and 7”x1”) that are serviceable by user. Installation is completed by the end user with technical assistance via internet or telephone. Both porous and non-porous inks can be used to mark your substrates. Marking speeds of up to 400 dots per second are standard- up to 600 dots per second can be reached and in those cases where the marking line is not at a constant speed, an optional encoder is available. Our Dot Marker is also PLC compatible.
The Dot Marker is used for process verification, to mark product installation points, pass/fail marks, to mark specific lengths or break points, or to make points for product installation. Placed on an X/Y table it can be used to make patterns. This is done as part of a dynamic production line without interruption or downtime.
